Apéros Frenchies is a Brand Activation and Events Company  (website url address: https://aperosfrenchies.com)  Paris, France based company, creating experiences to promote the French way of life to francophiles and friends around the world.  Please read this Privacy Policy, providing consent to both documents in order to have permission to use our services.

2. OUR EVENTS

ATTENDANCE

By attending an Apéros Frenchies event you confirm that you grant Apéros Frenchies the permission to take and use audio or visual recordings and photographs of you that may be displayed on the Apéros Frenchies website or social media accounts and for general publicity purposes. Please see the corresponding event descriptions to see the specific partners and event sponsors to whom we may share your info.

REGISTRATION DATA

If you register on our website, we store your chosen username and your email address and any additional personal information added to your user profile. You can see, edit, or delete your personal information at any time (except changing your username). Website administrators can also see and edit this information.

PURCHASE DATA

To reserve a ticket to attend an Apéros Frenchies sponsored event you may use either the Facebook or website purchase options. We will receive your name and quantity of tickets reserved. The storage of your user data is required for us to allow you access to the event and provide other customer services. We do not store any further data. If you are asked to complete a survey in the course of your ticket reservation, please note that your answers will be tabulated anonymously.  Any purchase codes or confirmation numbers will be stored together with expiration dates and your user data when submitted via the Eventbrite or Facebook portals. Please see each respective site for their policies on data storage.
Only the data you explicitly provide is sent, and you are asked for consent, each time you want to reserve a new ticket.

CONTACT FORM

Information submitted through the contact form on our site is sent to our company email, these submissions are only kept for customer service purposes. Where specifically noted, information submitted through the contact forms on this site will subscribe you to our monthly newsletter. Your email and personal data will never be shared with third parties.

GOOGLE ANALYTICS

You directly provide Apéros Frenchies with most of the data we collect. Aperos Frenchies France SARL (10 rue Penthievre, 75008 Paris) collects and processes the following data from the visitors of this site:

  • Customer surveys as voluntarily submitted when you provide feedback on any of our message boards or via email.

For the purpose of validating and getting your purchase information regarding licenses for the our theme, we send your provided tokens and purchase keys to Envato Pty Ltd and use the response from their API to register your validated support data. TICKSY

Ticksy provides the support ticketing platform we use to handle support requests. The data they receive is limited to the data you explicitly provide and consent to being set when you create a support ticket. 7. HOW LONG WE RETAIN YOUR DATA

When you submit a support ticket or a comment, its metadata is retained until (if) you tell us to remove it. We use this data so that we can recognize you and approve your comments automatically instead of holding them for moderation.

If you register on our website, we also store the personal information you provide in your user profile. You can see, edit, or delete your personal information at any time (except changing your username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

8. SECURITY MEASURES

We use the SSL/HTTPS protocol throughout our site. This encrypts our user communications with the servers so that personal identifiable information is not captured/hijacked by third parties without authorization.

In case of a data breach, system administrators will immediately take all needed steps to ensure system integrity, will contact affected users and will attempt to reset passwords if needed.
